Cyndi Foster is a prophetic teacher and author who has spent over 30 years training believers in spiritual warfare — teaching them how to overcome the enemy’s attacks and fight for their families with God’s Word. Out of her own journey through loss, healing, and miraculous deliverance, she founded Beauty for Ashes — a ministry equipping families around the world to walk in freedom and authority through Jesus Christ.
Through her books, including Spiritual Warfare Blueprint for Your Family, and her raw, Spirit-led preaching, Cyndi equips believers to pray with power, stand firm in battle, and believe for the impossible. She speaks with honesty and Holy Spirit fire, raising up warriors who refuse to settle for powerless Christianity. The story of
Beauty for Ashes
Beauty for Ashes began as a small home Bible study in Virginia and grew into a Spirit-filled ministry reaching people locally and around the world. Founded by Cyndi Foster, the ministry became a nonprofit in 1995 and later established a permanent base in Newport News, transforming a warehouse into a warm, Spirit-led hub.
Cyndi’s call became deeply personal after the tragic loss of her daughter. In that moment of grief, God exchanged her sorrow for joy—birthing the heart of the ministry from Isaiah 61:1-3, to give beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning.
Through her books—Joy Comes in the Morning and Spiritual Warfare Blueprint for Your Family—Cyndi continues to equip believers to overcome impossible battles and fight for their families with God’s Word.
